I remember from a really young age how obsessed I was with drawing, so much so that my parents would give me rolls of wallpaper on which I would draw for hours. I was also taught from an early age how to write nicely – which is something I am forever grateful for, as now I consider this as much of an art as drawing a portrait.

I started sharing my handwritten bible scriptures and personal testimonies on Instagram as a visual diary for myself, as well as a way to record how my calligraphy technique improved over time. I started getting requests and commissions, and before I knew it, this became my little side hustle with commissions for large scale wall calligraphy, to personalised gifts.
